Ivar's, the premier seafood restaurant company in the Pacific Northwest, is currently interviewing for an equipment technician/maintenance person to help keep everything running smoothly at our quick-service restaurants in the north end. We are looking for techs who are highly quality-conscious when it comes to repairs and projects, and who are self-directed and self-motivated in relation to equipment upkeep.

This position will be full-time and pay between $26-$36 per hour depending on your experience level, and medical insurance coverage will become available within 90 days of your start date.

Those hired will work typically an early morning shift from 3:00am to 11:00am Monday through Friday, and they will be responsible for repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment primarily in our north locations in Marysville, Mukilteo, Everett, Edmonds, North Seattle, Bothell, and Kirkland.

Candidates must have the following qualifications to be considered:

• At least three years of experience working on restaurant equipment (fryers, steam kettles, broilers, ovens, flattop griddles, coolers, freezers, etc.)
• Experience prioritizing and repairing electrical, carpentry, and plumbing problems
• Experience with routine building maintenance
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Willing to occasionally operate up to 24’ rental truck (non CDL)
• Possess reliable transportation (truck or van preferred)
