Infosys is seeking a Financial Services Business Analyst. In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your Business Analysis skills, technical and Domain proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Project initiation, Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, Solution Design and Testing. You will play an important role in creating requirements documents, Data Analysis, identify data quality issues and remediate. You will also deliver BRDs, Requirement’s specifications for modules/applications, and lead validation for all types of functional/non-functional testing and support activities related to tracking, work allocation and status reporting. Candidate will be responsible to interface with end-users, IT teams and key stakeholders to gather system requirements. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX/ Charlotte NC/ Jersey City NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experienced in IT and Business Analysis for Financial Services Industry – Requirement Analysis, Solution definition and Functional Specifications.
• Experience in Capital Markets, Trade lifecycle, Front, Middle & Back Office functions
• Experience in financial asset classes - Equities, Fixed income, Derivatives
• Experience in Data Analysis and Data Mapping skills
• Experience in Reference Data (Client and/or Market data)

Preferred Qualifications

• Atleast 8 years of experience in IT and Business Analysis for Financial Services Industry – Requirement Analysis, Solution definition and Functional Specifications.
• Atleast 8 years of experience in creating requirement and functional specifications documents. Process analysis and preparing process flow diagrams
• Atleast 6 years of experience with Agile development methodology, knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Atleast 6 years of experience in Capital Markets, Trade lifecycle, Front, Middle & Back Office functions
• Atleast 6 years of experience in financial asset classes - Equities, Fixed income, Derivatives
• Atleast 5 years of experience in Data Analysis and Data Mapping skills
• Atleast 5 years of experience in Reference Data (Client and/or Market data)
• Ability to support Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Skilled at using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Confluence, JIRA (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of Database and SQL querying – Should be able to develop and run simple SQL against database
• Experience on coding, testing and development process is an added advantage
• Experience with IT project management
• Strong exposure to any of the areas in Asset & Wealth management - Client Onboarding, Ref Data, Reg Reporting, Financial Planning, Portfolio Management, Performance Measurement, Books & Records, Order Management & Settlements, account oversight
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to deep dive into complex details and resolve issues.
• Confident of interacting with business users and other stakeholders

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
