International Air Freight Coordinator

Yankee Enterprises, Inc., an agent of Landstar Global Logistics, is seeking an experienced air freight specialist for its location near BWI Airport, MD. Candidate will have at least three years experience in a fast-paced air freight forwarding environment in the transportation industry and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision with a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities include:

-Maintain ongoing customer and vendor relationships.

-Administrative duties such as order processing and routing, shipment tracking, and general data input.

-Communicate timely with clients and consignees and/or other vendors’ offices regarding any issues affecting the shipments.

Minimum Requirements :

High school graduate or equivalent; Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred.

Minimum of three year international air freight customer service experience with a transportation industry company, preferably in an air freight environment. Experience in truckload/LTL/intermodal/ocean/HazMat a plus.

Rapid and accurate typing and data entry skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills

A strong knowledge of transportation processes for domestic and international shipping and documentation

Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
