JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in supporting all shipping and receiving operations during every shift.
• Contacting 3PL agents to retrieve pertinent information regarding shipments.
• Tracking shipments on carrier’s websites.
• Making notes in our software with updates that you have received on various shipments.
• Using our software to create manifest labels and tags for all incoming shipments.
• Sending daily and/or weekly reports to our internal HQ team that detail the status of each shipment. (ex. In Transit, Out for Delivery, Delivered)
• Assisting the customs broker in the electronic submission of Lacey Act Declaration with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol for all incoming shipments.
• Reconciling incoming invoices from suppliers against internal records.
• Collaborating with your team leader to find the best solution for shipments that could further support our locations.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• You have excellent customer service and communication skills. You are an effective and direct communicator.
• You have high attention to detail and strong analytical skills with the ability to multitask effectively and efficiently.
• You are computer-savvy, proficient with Microsoft and Google suites and have the ability and willingness to learn and leverage other programs as required.
• You are a team player and willing to assist wherever needed. You embrace change and challenges with a positive outlook.
• You are efficient, organized, and self-motivated. You excel at managing and supporting a variety of disciplines and working independently to meet long and short-term deadlines.
