As a multi-line claims adjuster, you'll have a vital role in keeping our claims process after an accident efficient and accurate for our customers. Focusing on claims involving multiple products, you'll investigate and analyze the claim and damage to determine the best course of action.

This is a hybrid role. You’ll be expected to report to an office about four days per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration and will have the benefit of continued coaching from a supportive team. If you prefer an in-office environment, you’re welcome to work in the office more than four days per month.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and determine Progressive’s liability concerning loss or damages
• Negotiate settlements with claimants
• Investigate claims including multiline losses involving motorcycle, watercraft, recreational vehicle, mobile home, snow mobile or commercial vehicles

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or a combined total of five years of work experience and/or college education
• Must have one year in the automotive repair/appraisal or insurance industry
• Work or educational experience must include:
  • Making decisions
  • Solving problems
  • Planning, prioritizing, and organizing
  • Effectively communicating verbally and in writing
  • Customer service
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance along with compliance with Progressive’s driving standards and/or policies

Compensation

• $65,500 - $75,000/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
