General Summary of Position
Do you have passion for customer service and want to help provide an excellent new hire experience for our incoming associates? MedStar Health has a full time opportunity to join our Talent Acquisition team. Our Onboarding Specialists act as a guide and resource for new MedStar associates. You'll take ownership of several processes such as background investigations, education and license verifications, I-9 form completion and coordinating pre-employment physical appointments. You will maneuver multiple web-based platforms to meet your weekly deadlines.

This is on-site role located on the campus of MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, MD. Hours are Monday-Friday, day shift.

Education/Training: Associate degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
Experience: 1 year recent experience in high volume scheduling, administrative or similar Human Resources experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, organizational skills, accountability/ownership, and effective communication skills. Ability to adhere to detail, accuracy and thoroughness. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for effective communication with new hires and transferring associates. Ability to effectively multi-task and work under strict deadlines. Knowledgeable of HR and payroll processes helpful. Proficient in MS Office applications, including, Outlook, Word and Excel.
