The Mesquite Moose JUCO football recruiting division is part of 4 football intercollegiate teams in Nevada, that competes at the JUCO level, that's govern by the American JUCO Athletic Association (AJCAA). The Mesquite Moose are members of the prestigious Silver State Conference (SSC), located in wonderful Nevada. Our new JUCO football program is focused on academics, careers and athletics, after officially joining the (SSC) on May 1st, 2023. This is a Stipend position only and it's for $2,500 per football season. But you can get extra depending on the roster spots are filled. You have to be able to recruit football players in Mesquite and other locations in Nevada or Arizona and across the U.S. You must know how to use twitter and social medias for recruiting purposes. You will also be in charge of college Letter of Intents to be sent out and to receive them. You must be local in Mesquite, Nevada or nearby for recruiting.

HISTORY:

The community of Mesquite was finally established on the third attempt after having been flooded out from the waters of the Virgin River. The name was later shortened to Mesquite, and the city was incorporated in May 1984.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and executing a system of mailings and general correspondence for prospective student-athletes and high school coaches.
• Assisting the football staff with the planning, organization and execution of all major recruiting functions.
• Maintaining a large database of prospective student-athletes, with an emphasis placed on updating and manipulating the information to suit the needs of the coaching staff.
• Recording a detailed log of all videotapes submitted to the football office by prospective student-athletes, high school coaches and scouting services.
• Communicating with members of a student hostess group and coordinating their involvement in different recruiting functions.
• Monitoring the Internet for any information about prospective student-athletes that could assist the coaching staff in the recruiting process. Must know how to use Twitter and other Social Media.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Computer literate. Social Media and emailing. Sports recruiting is a must.
• Knowledge of Silver State Conferences and AJCAA rules and regulations.

Recruiting Tools:

• Valid driver’s license
