We are looking for a Full or Part-time Dental Hygienist to help treat our patients and promote good oral health practices! Our private practice has good energy, great technology and we have a passion for dentistry!

Hygienists work with a single column schedule and work as a team to get things done! Duties revolve around comprehensive care; conducting initial patient screenings , prophy, perio treatments and advising patients on their oral health and preventative care. Our hygienists are reliable and are able to build trust with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination, utilizing TV's in each room
• Conduct initial screenings and oral health history
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
• Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride, perio protect treatment)
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) oral imaging
• Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
• Take X-rays, digital scanning or dental impressions
• iTero scanner with on the job training
• Sterilize instruments
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
• Monitor supplies and stock operatories as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour
