We are now seeking a dedicated and skilled Salad Line Cook and Charcuterie Specialist to join our vibrant team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble a variety of salads and appetizers, including our signature charcuterie boards, according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Creatively plate and garnish desserts to achieve a visually appealing and elegant presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including chefs and front-of-house staff, to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience.
- Take direction well and adapt to new recipes, techniques, and presentation styles as required.
- Assist with inventory management and participate in food prep tasks when needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a line cook, preferably with expertise in salads, charcuterie, and dessert plating.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation standards.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Food Handler Certification or equivalent.
Nice to Have:
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary school.
- Experience with menu development and recipe creation.
- Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients.
