Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is seeking a self-starting and enthusiastic transportation and energy strategist with demonstrated success and interest in energy mobility services to join our Advanced Mobility team in our corporate office located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. We are seeking a technically oriented project manager, planner, and/or engineer with skills in project management and delivery, including scope, schedule, and budget, technical writing and analysis, team coordination, and client and partner relations. The strategist will play a leading role in the management and delivery of statewide, regional, city, and agency sustainability and electrification plans, mobility service assessments, feasibility studies, mobility dashboards, research projects, and more.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works on and manages a range of projects, including small to mid-sized transportation, energy, and/or environmental planning projects and tasks and/or larger multi-disciplinary projects
• Manages task or project schedules, budgets. and quality of work
• Responsible for overseeing data collection, technical analyses, and written documentation
• Participates in and presents project findings in writing and at client meetings, technical group gatherings, and day or evening public meetings/hearings
• Participates in business development efforts including building client relationships and proposal writing for planning and multi-disciplinary projects
• Assists with mentoring and project-related management of staff
• Works with other planners, engineers, analysts, landscape architects, and environmental scientists on multidisciplinary projects
• Other duties may be assigned based upon client and organizational opportunities

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of experience in planning or engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, civil engineering, natural resources, or related fields
• High level project management experience and demonstrated successful performance
• Master’s degree in urban and regional planning, civil engineering, natural resources, or related fields is preferred

SKILLS

• Highly organized with experience managing and/or planning engineering projects from start to finish
• Participating in management of larger multi-disciplinary projects
• Strong head for analytics, a deep interest in problem-solving, and good attention to detail and delivery of high-quality products and services
• Passion for energy and transportation planning
• Talent for critical thinking, creativity, and innovation
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Desire to mentor and collaborate with staff at all levels

Anticipated Starting Salary Range - $95,000 - $125,000 Annually
