Job description

We are seeking an Assistant to join our team and provide support to our sales department. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in the design and construction materials industry and a desire to grow with our company. This position will be based out of our offices in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The assistant will work alongside our managing partner but will be expected to help other colleagues as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
• Assist with lead generation, follow-up, and lead management
• Provide sales support, including preparing sales proposals
• Assist in gathering information from our vendors to utilize across our online platforms
• Occasionally update our social media platforms
• Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate travel to and from sales events and trade shows
• Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns and social media strategy
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales data in our CRM system
• Assist and guide clients in the showroom while documenting sample and project details

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of sales or sales support experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in the design and construction materials industry
• Desire to grow with the company
• Interest with social media a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
