Aviation Security Officers (JFK Airport)

MG Security is seeking Aviation Security Officers at JFK International Airport for our multi-faceted security services company. MG Security Services is a company that is growing responsibly and has incredible advancement opportunities for the right individual. Payrate is $18-$22. Available shifts are 3 pm x 1 am, Monday – Sunday.

Qualifications/Requirements:

This position requires you to obtain Airport Badging and The Department of Homeland Security requires an extensive background check to obtain badging which include 10-year verifiable background check, including criminal, employment, credit, education, and personal references. Also, must be able to pass a Security Threat Assessment as administered by the Transportation Security Administration

Additional requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Upon hire, must provide proof of citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work authorization in the US
• Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand the English language
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be able to pass all initial and recurrent training classes and exams as administered by MG Security Services.
• Must have access to reliable transportation

• Position will be indoor & outdoor with exposure to elements.

General Company Requirements:

• Employee must comply with the Company's uniform and grooming standards and must wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times.
• Employee must comply with Port Authority regulations of SIDA & Port Authority Security Training guidelines.
• Valid NYS State Security Guard License
• Valid 8 hours annual in-service training certificate 16 hours OJT certificate
• Airport Experience is a plus.
• Previous security guard experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
