Director of Nursing

Crestwood Health Care Center located in Florissant, Mo is currently looking for a Director of Nursing. The Director of Nursing will administer nursing programs and oversee the provision of skilled nursing care to our residents. The Director of Nursing will manage the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the nursing care provided to the residents through direct oversight, coaching, and supervision of the staff nurses and certified nursing assistants to ensure that the highest quality services are delivered in a resident-centered environment. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of an ASN degree from accredited college or university
• Must be currently licensed/registered in Missouri. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• Must have two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Must have CPR certification upon hire.

Specific Job Requirements:

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
• Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for patient needs
• Must be able to collect, analyze, and manage data
• Must have expert knowledge in field of practice
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in skilled nursing.
• Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
• Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
