GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting or related field; or High School diploma/GED and four (4) additional years of related experience.
- Five (5) years of experience in data analysis, assessment administration, delinquent collection or tax billing.
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
THE POSITION
Below is a brief overview of the role, not a full job description.
- Oversees and evaluates assigned personnel for efficiency and effectiveness; participates in personnel actions of hiring, promotion, discipline, termination, training and development; resolves or refers personnel problems or grievances; directs and assigns work to employees that report to them; and provides technical support and guidance in their work activities.
- Oversees, analyzes and reconciles all new construction utility related fees for residential and commercial development, including verification of correct fee application and required inspections.
- Audits and verifies accuracy of function and various processes within the Division to include permit fees/inspections, account billing/reconciliations, refunds and collections.
- Provides specialized account maintenance based upon parcel change data received from Lee County. Initiates changes from daily Land Management Report, which displays information relating to legal changes, property adds and deletes, square foot changes, Department of Revenue code changes, etc. Maintains and recalculates individual utility related assessments associated with each property based on the new property configuration.
- Performs other related duties as required.
