Global Vegetable Seeds Product Supply Field Quality Lead
Global Vegetable Seeds Product Supply Field Quality Lead for St. Louis, MO to define global vegetable seeds product supply field quality programs & seed health strategies; manage, lead, select, train & develop vegetable seeds product field quality team; deploy improvements for field quality activities; lead transition to genetic testing program for vegetable seeds product supply; develop best practices & training programs; create external programs & run diagnostic testing for customers and commercial partners to ensure proper use of vegetable seeds products; evaluate external collaboration opportunities; conduct audits & program reviews to assess compliance with internal and external requirements; provide technical support for the global vegetable product supply leadership team. Requires Master’s in Agronomy, Plant Sciences, or closely-related field & 2 yrs experience developing & implementing procedures to detect, mitigate and manage plant quality and phytosanitary risks; training regional field quality representatives to conduct field quality inspections to detect plant pathogens & abnormalities at the field level; developing guidelines for enhanced crop inspection procedures using digital detection capabilities & digital field scoring systems; developing tools for plant disease identification & handling including diagnostics, disease cards and training materials; and investigating crop quality issues & analyzing trends and causes of poor plant quality. 20% domestic & Int’l travel req’d.
