Ford Pro Tech –Data & Analytics (D&A) is a global team responsible for the strategy & delivery of 360 data services, modern business intelligence, and advanced analytics solutions powering Ford Pro. This enables Ford Pro to operate as an analytics-driven business in a driven marketplace!

We are seeking a well-rounded Head of Data Science who is a subject matter expert in ML operations & tools, data science modalities, descriptive/predictive/prescriptive analytic strategies, and data visualization delivery. This role is responsible for creating competitive advantage for Ford Pro through the power of analytic delivery.

This is a technical leadership role reporting to the Director, Data & Analytics Ford Pro. & leaders work in a Product Management Delivery model working end-to-end with business partners, analytics managers, product owners, product designers, data scientists, business intelligence engineers, data engineers, and software developers to deliver analytics innovation.

You'll have...

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 12+ years of professional work experience in Data & Analytics
• 6+ years of experience in Data Science modalities and their proper application – includes at least three of the following: (principal component analysis, k-means cluster analysis, regressions, neural networks, natural language processing, design of experiments, operations optimization )
• 3+ years experience in Cloud platform (GCP or AWS or Azure)
• 4+ years of experience working in a cross-functional, agile product team environment/analytic delivery team.
• 4+ years of leading teams of 5+ direct reports.
• 4+ years executive presentation preparation and delivery
• 3+ years of facilitating design workshops for business and technical partners, including discovery, design, decision, and final read-out.

Even better, you may have...

• Master’s Degree in related field (e.g., Data Science, Predictive Analytics, Statistics, etc).
• Expert level of Advanced Analtyic and Machine Learning methods.
• Expert level of Machine Learning Operations methods in Cloud Computing Platforms
• Ability to turn transactional systems data into business action and understand how to measure it.
• Experience delivering project scope across multiple industries
• Experience in Automotive Industry, Transportation Industry or Analytics Consulting
