Kanthal Corporation is looking for a Southwest Regional Sales Manager in Concord, North Carolina.

Your Role:

Execute the technical sales of advanced resistance heating systems. Grow the line of Kanthal heating systems and expand business opportunities via direct sales. Open new accounts and expand business with existing accounts, working with both project type and repeat customers. Support the development, implementation, and execution of sales plans and activities for Kanthal's heating technology products within the North American region. Develop an in-depth knowledge of customer needs in order to recommend product offerings that will maximize customer value and sales profit. Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain robust multi-level customer relationships to achieve sales growth for engineered heating products. Investigate and focus on new applications in which heating technology can be used, implemented, and developed. Coordinate agent, dealer, and distributor performance and related trade compliance. Monitor accounts receivables and coordinate claim handling processes for the assigned scope. Communicate potential new business ideas to various levels of the organization. Work closely with both internal and external parties to execute pre-approved sales strategies built around developing new business growth. Meet or exceed commitments established during the planning process each year. Oversee weekly reporting for current sales, quotes, and trends in the territory. Work with the appropriate compliance and legal experts to secure and review relevant sales contracts. Accurately report and record information in collaboration with the trade compliance team. Promote and adhere to all applicable competition laws, and company policies and guidelines.

About you:

You possess two years of direct sales experience with industrial heating resistance materials and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering. Up to 60% domestic travel required.
