As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for supporting maintenance operations in a refrigeration tube manufacturing organization. This position is Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime. This position will train on 1st shift, then transition hours once training requirements are met.

Responsibilities include:

• Promote a safe, clean, organized working environment for all employees and always wear proper PPE.
• Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) on all Carrier equipment and supporting auxiliary equipment. Follow the required PM schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Assist in managing the inventory of supplies needed for all PMs
• Perform annual PMs, such as thermal scans and switchgear cleaning and inspection.
• Conduct maintenance repairs as required by the maintenance supervisors.
• Assist, as needed, with the environmental and facilities functions.
• Collaborate to reduce the cost of equipment part inventories and help ensure correct levels of critical spares.
• Work with others to operate as a productive and efficient team.

Qualifications:

• Post High School education in Industrial or Mechanical Maintenance, skilled trades or equivalent formal training required.
• One-year Industrial Maintenance experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Working knowledge of computer systems including MS Office
