The Job Details:

  • Provide leadership and oversee execution of workflow throughout the warehouse. With focus on safety, productivity, accuracy, customer satisfaction, sanitation, and teamwork.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
  • Oversee inventory control functions and procedures, including cycle counts, product rotation and recall, training, customer claims and requests, and record keeping.
  • Participate in the hiring process of new warehouse associates.
  • Provide hands-on leadership to the ongoing development of the assigned personnel and teams.
  • Develop good working relationships at all levels within the USCS team environment, leading and communicating as needed to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Act on the Assistant Superintendent/Superintendent’s behalf when necessary.
  • Attend or Conduct facility, customer or training meetings when asked.
  • Perform any additional tasks delegated by Operations Manager and/or General Manager.
  • Work with Management and Customer Service personnel to ensure that all requirements and requests are responded to in the highest professional manner

The Job Specifics:

  • Location, Department and Work Hours: Lebanon, Indiana, Operations, 3:00PM-1:00AM
  • Reports To: Superintendent

What We Are Looking For:

Education

  • High School Degree/ GED Required, 2+ years of College or a minimum of 2-3 years Team Lead/Supervisor experience Required

Experience

  • Warehouse Supervision and operations, preferably in a food or temperature-controlled environment
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF, MS Office, and other computer applications associated with the distribution center.
  • Radio frequency and other warehouse computer applications including MS Office and Lotus Notes
  • Detail and customer service oriented.
  • Planning, organizing, professional written and oral communication, problem solving, decision making, excellent mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to consistently lead and influence others to take positive action.
  • Handle multiple high priority tasks in a fast-paced team environment, and requires the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.

  • Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Lift up to 70lbs with assistance on an occasional basis

  • Use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery
  • Ability to lift overhead
  • This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed.
  • Have acceptable and / or correctable vision
  • Work in an atmosphere range of + 50 to - 30 degrees F with a moderate noise level
  • Personal interaction and communication required to and from other people is extremely high
  • Good arithmetic and reading skills
  • Understand and follow verbal instruction, written instruction and company policies
  • A self-starter that can work independently and coordinate with others
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines

The Standard Details:

  • Always maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications.
  • Participate in staff and/or customer meetings.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems.
  • Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes and/or quality.
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels.
  • Verify the implementation of solutions.
  • Follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building.
  • Participate in Safety and Educational Training.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
