Branch Line is seeking Servers to join our team! We’re asking for flexible evening availability that includes weekdays and weekends. Branch Line is a neighborhood and wood fire grill in Watertown. Our service is professional, imbued with sincere hospitality and defined by our desire to always build relationships.
Our service staff averages $32 - $38 per hour between hourly rate and a share of tips. This is our current average and may vary by time of year and shifts worked.
Purpose of Position:
The team at Branch Line, is approachable yet memorable. Every day, you will command the basics, to include greeting tables, running food, opening a bottle of wine or saying hello to a guest. You will also have the opportunity to help a regular celebrate a special occasion, introduce someone to the Branch Line piri piri chicken or serve a special bottle of wine. You will be trained in our food, wine and beers, helping bring these menus to life for our guests. Branch Line will only continue to develop by being both familiar and confident.
Responsibilities:
- Greets all guests warmly
- Seek meaningful connection with guests in a diverse environment - patio, takeout, dining room
- Comprehensive knowledge of the food menus
- Comprehensive knowledge of wine by the glass, draft beer and coffee
- Commitment to building knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Help set, maintain and clean the dining room during service
- Assist with opening and closing restaurant duties and re-stocking

We are a great neighborhood restaurant with approachable chef food in a dynamic and fun setting that offers indoor dining, patio dining, events, takeaway and delivery. For our team, we hope to bring the food beverage and hospitality culture that defined Eastern Standard, Kenmore Square, and extends to Shy Bird, Kendall Square.
