Job description
We’re looking for a Sr. Programmatic Paid Media Specialist to join our Paid Media team. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for developing programmatic media strategies across all channels and handling the implementation and optimization of programmatic campaigns. This position will act as the programmatic expert at the agency and play an essential role in delivering work designed to exceed client expectations and campaign objectives.
This position can function remotely with occasional travel to our office in Memphis for team or client meetings.
YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AS SENIOR PROGRAMMATIC PAID MEDIA SPECIALIST:
- Developing programmatic strategy across CTV/OTT, display, video, audio and all other channels
- Monitoring campaigns and providing ongoing optimizations and recommendations based on agreed-upon KPIs
- Working with the Integrated Media Planner(s) and Comms Strategist(s) to help set the overarching direction for the programmatic part of the integrated media plans, including media mix, reach/frequency, flighting and other key components of campaigns
- Collaborating with Analysts for the development of campaign reports and providing insight and analysis
- Mentoring junior team members on programmatic planning and buying
- Collaborating with Analysts to determine the paid media measurement framework and paint the picture for success
- Working hand in hand with our Analytics team to ensure proper tracking of campaigns
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS YOU POSSESS:
- 4-5 years of experience is preferred in programmatic media planning and buying large media campaigns at a media agency or vendor through a DSP
- Strong presenter with the ability to voice viewpoints or information concisely and with rationale
- Experience in audience and media research tools like MRI-Simmons, Nielsen and Comscore
- Experience in determining brand safety, viewability and deliverability standards and tools
- A solid understanding of media trafficking concepts and experience with ad-serving platforms like Sizmek
- Ability to see the “big picture” for each campaign and client
- Analytical and creative problem-solving mindset; also comfortable in ambiguity and able to form strategic hypotheses with minimal but sufficient information
- Strong individual accountability, taking ownership of and responsibility for all aspects of their work and their teams
