This position involves traditional classroom teaching and clinical rotation instruction at a hospital or long-term care facility. Student clinical scheduling will also be involved, along with simulation lab practice. Lake Tech Practical Nursing programs are scheduled in a variety of options including; days, nights, some weekends. This is a full-time contracted position and will assist with other Health Science Education assignments when not with students.

Requirements:
Registered Nurse (BSN is preferred but not required)
Minimum 6 years industry experience Teaching experience is a plus, although not required
Position involves face to face classroom teaching, as well as online (virtual) teaching/meeting with students & travel to clinical sites and simulation labs.
CPR/First Aid Certified, Instructor certified is a plus, although not required.

Technology Literacy desired:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Online learning (facilitating and participating); comfortable teaching and communicating via virtual platforms when needed
Basic computer skills and internet use
Ability to learn virtual software platforms
