Full-Time Information Technology Specialist

Bank of Pontiac is seeking professional, motivated, customer-service driven candidates for our Full-Time Information Technology Specialist position at our main Pontiac branch. Bank of Pontiac opened its doors for business in 1947. Our Information Technology Specialists are crucial in ensuring that our internal and external information systems remain operational and available to serve the customers and employees without fault. Information Technology Specialists are a vital link to providing excellent customer service and ensuring that Bank of Pontiac is meeting their financial needs.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform routine installation, configuration, deployment, and regular monitoring of workstations, including management of the workstations at the Operating System level.
  • Monitoring of the Bank’s IT Helpdesk and opening support tickets to assist computer users
  • Day to day monitoring, maintenance, and upkeep of existing servers and all furnished property and equipment to include computers, and all ancillary devices.
  • Work with managers to influence and negotiate process improvements with technology and process owners.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain operation documentation.
  • Monitor the status of all ongoing projects and provide guidance and direction to resolve any technical issues, problems, or conflicts that may arise.
  • Adhere to Bank policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make sound decisions based on Bank policies, knowledge, and experience.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma is required
  • A high degree of experience with Information Technology equipment/systems
  • Demonstrated work experience to project a professional image
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality
  • High degree of confidentiality
  • May be required to lift, move, mount, or store equipment weighing up to 80lbs.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must utilize effective listening
  • Ability to multitask
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills
