Job Description:

The VP of Omnichannel Sales will lead the Zurn-Elkay sales strategy for the eCommerce, MRO, Retail and B2B Commerce channels. This key leader will report directly to the SVP of Sales & Customer Experience and serve on the Commercial Leadership team for the business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving rapid and sustainable growth through key distribution accounts (Amazon, Grainger, HD Supply, etc.), retail partners (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) and consolidators while providing omnichannel thought leadership across the organization. Successful candidates will make an immediate contribution through enhancing key business processes that add value to Our Customers, Our Shareholders, and Our Associates.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop the Omnichannel account strategy to drive the overall financial plan
  • Provide direction to a team of National Account Directors managing customers such as Grainger, Home Depot, Lowes, HD Supply, etc.
  • Lead the organizations Amazon and pure play ecommerce strategy
  • Oversee the planning and execution of retail line reviews and store resets
  • Develop and implement a B2B ecommerce strategy, allowing wholesale customers to transact and self service through a B2B online portal
  • Create a parts and filtration strategy that drives breakthrough growth for the business
  • Ensure proper stocking of products in the channel and manage burn / build analytics
  • Serve as the ecommerce thought leader for the business, driving influence across the organization
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to enhance conversion rates in store and online
  • Work with channel partners to optimize the buy online pickup in branch experience
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on a demand generation and performance marketing strategy to support the channel
  • Leverage innovation and automation to enable customer self service and on demand support
  • Establish the eCommerce, MRO and Retail product assortment applying 8020 principles
  • Directly support the business units to achieve strategic deployment objectives by conducting on-site workshops, kaizen events and providing guidance through the digital transformation process.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to establish SIOP and ensure proper execution across demand planning, purchasing, stocking and OTD.
  • Train the service centers on fulfillment SOPs to drive operational excellence and minimize chargebacks.
  • Lead repackaging and merchandising efforts housed within Zurn’s service centers.
  • Work with the digital team to integrate operational insights (order status, inventory, delivery, etc.) into digital tools and platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in B2B eCommerce, Retail, and/or National Account Sales.
  • Proven track record of driving omnichannel growth, while minimizing disruption from channel shift
  • Travel up to 25% or as needed
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • True passion for delivering a world class omnichannel experience for our customers
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proactive problem solver, detail-oriented and strong degree of accountability
  • Experience working in a high growth and agile environment
  • Ability to motivate and inspire their team
  • Hands-on experience implementing customer experience transformation in large, complex manufacturing environments is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
